DO Fitness

DO Fitness is located at 5118 N. Shartel, and is a gym that is focused on helping clients do their personal best.  That means nomatter what age, size, or physical limitations, you can look and feel your best on a program of good eating habits and exercise tailored just for you.

Owner, Don Oliver, has been a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in the Oklahoma City area since 1992.  He and his wife, Jeannie Oliver, opened DO Fitness in January 2009 because Don’s personal training business had outgrown the small studio behind their home.

Do Fitness offers every potential member a no-obligation, risk-free trial membership, which include all access to classes*.  Check out the information below and see what DO Fitness can have in store for you!

*(excludes boxing sessions and personal training).

Yin Yoga (with Tina)  Deep stretching postures held for 3 to 5 minutes to encourage muscle release, generating heat to stimulate connective tissue and fascia.  This “non-sweaty” workout improves flexibility in the hips and spine and relieves back pain.  For all fitness levels.

Yoga for Strength (with Tina)   This vinyasa flow begins with sun salutations followed by postures performed from a standing position.  Props and modifications are incorporated to make this appropriate for most fitness levels.

Yoga for Men (with Tina)  No prior Yoga experience needed.   Helps develop core, upper/lower body strength and flexibility.  For all fitness levels.

Yoga for Flexibility (with Tina)  Stretching postures are combined with slow breathing to release muscle tension and improve flexibility.  Attention to neck, shoulders and lower back make this class especially helpful for anyone who has joint or range of motion issues.  For all fitness levels.

Super Circuit  60 second bursts of resistance exercise followed quickly by another 60-second burst targeting a different muscle group, alternating with one minute of cardio.  Performed at a pace to increase the heart rate, a super calorie burner for beginner to advanced fitness levels.
